Aftercare

If you ever encounter a genuine design flaw or craftsmanship issue, please get in touch but bear in mind you won’t get as constructive response from us if you put your charcuterie board in the dishwasher or put your coffee table in a wetroom! 

Wood continues to move and change many years after it is felled and dried. Moisture is continually absorbed and evaporated and so try not to put any wood directly onto a heat source or leave it in water for any length of time.

We soak the boards and tables we make in a food safe mineral oil and then feed them with Board Butter, a special mix of oil and beeswax. If your board or table is looking a bit tired and dull, you can either rub in a bit of mineral oil or use a food safe beeswax polish. Alternatively please contact us and we will sell you a tin of Board Butter at a very reasonable price!

Every table we make is unique and we use different finishes for different woods. We will provide specific care suggestions for your table when we deliver/assemble it.
